DETERMINED elements are trying to split Umno. Every which way one looks there is little respite for the Prime Minister with attacks coming fast and furious.
After many salvos fired in defence of the PM from various quarters, the focus has narrowed considerably.
On the official front Datuk Seri Najib Razak is facing down the allegations made against 1MDB, Malaysia’s strategic investment fund, accountable to the Finance Minister cum PM.
Here the major culprit is the British based Sarawak Report claiming to have all manner of documented evidence but yet will not surrender it to someone who has the locus standi, like DAP’s Tony Pua, to make a police report and kick start a forensic investigation, thus ending the witch hunt.
Which Malaysian is not relishing the thought of, at least, hoisting the notorious Low Taek Jho, or more popularly known as Jho Low, by his petards if the allegations against him are true?
